South Island robin (Toutouwai)

South Island robin (Toutouwai)

A photo of a South Island Robin (Toutouwai) taken in the Hawdon Valley, Arthur's Pass National Park, New Zealand. These little birds spend a lot of time on the forest floor searching for insects. They are very vulnerable to predation by wild cats, stoats and rats, and only thrive where there is good predator control

A good photo is not taken, rather it is a gift from the Creator.
