Lion Rock

Lion Rock stands tall on the shores of Piha Beach on Auckland's West Coast. Walking around its base is best done at low tide and even then great care must be taken. The views are beautiful, the landscape a photographers dream, the fishing an angler's delight but beware.....the waters can take you in a second if you dont respect your surroundings. High up, the sea rushes in between the rocky outcrops below and flows back out just as quickly.\nCanon 5Dmkiv
