Super excited to see my first young Dabchick or Weweia (one of three) Dabchicks are medium-sized aquatic diving birds. Endemic to Aotearoa New Zealand Aotearoa with a conservation status of recovering with an estimated population of 1900-2000 individuals. 100-400mm cropped.
