A stroke of luck

After some 4 years visiting Los Glaciers National Park in Argentina I tend to get lucky sometimes. On this occasion the clouds had covered the mountain throughout the day, but at the last moment when the light was fading I managed to get a photograph of Cerro Torre which I personally think is the most awe inspiring and dramatic mountain I've ever seen.

Recording a unique moment with my camera is more important than creating a digital image in post production. I may capture one picture a year and I don’t feel disappointed if I come away with nothing.
