Welcome Swallows

This pair of welcome Swallows were perfectly camouflaged on the native Harakeke at the back of our rented batch at Cape Palliser on the Wairarapa Coast. I crept up on them late afternoon, clinging to a steep bank of grass with my 70-200mm to take this shot. They are tiny birds weighing only 9-20 grams. Cropped.
