Waxeye (Tauhou) on Berries
The back story to this photo is that it was taken with my first digital camera, the venerable Olympus E-1 and the superb 50-200 mm lens back in July 2004, when we were en route to Christchurch to take our son back to Canterbury University after his mid-year holidays and we decided to spend a couple of nights in Hanmer Springs. I got up early one morning and went for a walk with my camera and found this amazing tree full of berries and Waxeyes / Tauhou feeding. I managed to capture this shot
