Even in smaller cities, the continuing impetus of life is remorseless. An uneasy alliance tens to exist between nature and industry as both jostle for their place. Here, Port Chalmers in Dunedin with its busy container port and log wharfs exists alongside the flowers and more rural feeling of Careys Bay.
