Spotted Shag

Spotted Shag are endemic to Aotearoa New Zealand - super excited to finally sight a Spotted Shag in Wellington. Appears to be a juvenile as it lacked the characteristic colourful head and neck markings. It’s huge yellow feet were a give away driving past so quickly doubled back and parked my car. Shot from 30 metres 100-400mm cropped.
