South Beach, Whangamata

Towards the end of summer, when there is a break between the public holidays, when the crowds disappear and the temperatures change, the beach becomes isolated apart from the locals and someone like me who has extended their stay. The sun goes down earlier in the evening and the autumn clouds pick up the colours as it sets. It doesnt feel right to be wrapped up at the beach but its worth it watching this unfold

The greatest gift is the present. I’m a photographer who enjoys getting out and about when I can and have a passion for motorsport and landscape photography. I especially enjoy photographing movement.
