Mt Ngauruhoe is an active volcanic mountain that first erupted about 2500 years ago. It has been used in several advertisements including Moet and Chandon when Jean-Claude Killy, a champion skier, descended a previously unskied face and reached a speed of over 100mph. The mountain has an average slope of 35 degrees. In recent times, the mountain appeared as Mt Doom in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings films

The greatest gift is the present. I’m a photographer who enjoys getting out and about when I can and have a passion for motorsport and landscape photography. I especially enjoy photographing movement.
