Me and My Apple

A feeding station on the deck of a house in the aptly named Kaka Ridge Road in Stewart Island was visited by a pair of kaka. One chased the other off and then proceeded to start to eat the entire apple before flying off with what was left. I can't help but sense a certain smugness as he (or she) surveyed their prize!
