Lockdown Birds: Tauhou or Silvereye with a dash of orange juice on it’s beak. These tiny birds are native to New Zealand and only weigh 13 grams. Tauhou are omnivorous and eat a range of insects and also feed on a variety of small and large fruits, the nectar of native and exotic flowers such as Kōwhai, Pōhutukawa, Fuschia and Bottlebrushes.
