Gone fishing

White-fronted Tern or Tara with a Sprat. Really pleased to get a shot of a Tern with a fish and an image where it’s eye was visible. Shooting Birds with black eyes and plumage has been a challenge so I chose a time when the sun was optimal, the fish was lit and shadows minimised. If you look closely you can see the tiny puncture wounds where the Tern’s beak has impacted the flesh. 70-200mm x 2 extender cropped.
