Fogbow or White Rainbow

Fogbow or White Rainbow: Whenever the sun meets water magical things happen. When sunlight shines through pouring rain your likely to see a Rainbow. The same is true for fog, when the conditions are right, sunlight mixes with fog causing a natural phenomenon known as a Fogbow. Since the droplets of fog are very tiny the colours get smeared together and the bow appears white rather than colourful. Fog on the South Coast lasted several hours resulting in flights cancelled for a third day in a row.
