Eye of the storm
In a howling gale I literally stumbled upon these trees. The wind was so strong I had no expectation of getting a shot. I was doing the best I could to find a composition when these incredible clouds formed at precisely the same moment the wind died off. I managed to shoot a series of images for focus stacking allowing me to capture a sharp image from near to far focus.

Recording a unique moment with my camera is more important than creating a digital image in post production. I may capture one picture a year and I don’t feel disappointed if I come away with nothing.
