Blue Light over Tuamotu Island

Tuamotu Island, off Gisborne is a small island visible from Gisborne and Sponge Bay. At low tide you can sometimes wade across to the island. Sometimes there are good waves for surfing when there is a swell and a good offshore breeze. This photo is a long exposure from Sponge Bay taken before sunrise on 11th October 2021, taken using my Olympus E-M1 MkII and the Olympujs 11-22 mm f2.8-3.5 lens. Camera settings were ISO 200, f8.0, 137 s
