Together with our Australian neighbours almost 12,000 soldiers fell on the peninsula at Gallipoli. \n2779 New Zealanders lost their lives in the campaign, one in six. The odds of returning to their homeland and loved ones was not great. \nIn the end, despite losing 8 times the amount of men, the peninsula was still held by the Ottoman Turk defenders.\nANZAC (an acronym for the Australia New Zealand Army Corp) created a special bond between our two countries; the 'Spirit of ANZAC'.\n\nCanon 5dmkiv\nSamyang 14mm f2.8\nf11 20seconds ISO 100\nLightpainted

The greatest gift is the present. I’m a photographer who enjoys getting out and about when I can and have a passion for motorsport and landscape photography. I especially enjoy photographing movement.
