Antipodean Albatross

We’re lucky in Wellington to have access to extraordinary wildlife. Sighted several species of Pelagic birds on a trip to the Cook Canyon organised by BirdsNZ Wellington branch on Sunday. One of my favourites was the Antipodean Albatross or Gibson’s Albatross which is endemic to New Zealand with a conservation status of Nationally critical.
