A few days after I took this photograph New Zealand went into lockdown again due to a new Covid outbreak. Our trip to Central Otago was cut short but I’m grateful to have spent a few days in this beautiful region before making a mad dash back to Dunedin and scramble to rebook my flight to return to Wellington within the 48 hour deadline to return home.
